-
Integrative Palliative Care is a holistic approach to care that focuses on improving the quality of life for individuals facing serious or life-threatening illnesses. By combining traditional medical treatments with complementary therapies—such as osteopathic care, mindfulness practices, and nutritional support—we address the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of our patients, helping them manage symptoms and find comfort.
-
While both hospice and palliative care aim to improve quality of life for patients with serious illnesses, palliative care is available at any stage of illness, whether the patient is undergoing curative treatment or not. Hospice care, on the other hand, is typically provided when a patient is nearing the end of life. At True North, we provide care throughout the entire course of an illness, focusing on pain management, emotional support, and overall well-being.
-
Yes, integrative palliative care can be provided alongside curative treatments. Our goal is to support your health and well-being in conjunction with any treatments you may be receiving. By addressing your symptoms and supporting your emotional and spiritual needs, we help improve your overall quality of life, even if you are pursuing other medical therapies.
