Alysa Held

At True North, Alysa is committed to bringing wellness to the community through a holistic approach with a comprehensive evaluation that considers the mind, body and spirit. This provides a patient/practitioner partnership that develops a unique care plan for each patient. 

Alysa Held has been a Nurse Practitioner for the last 6 years and has over 16 years of experience in healthcare.  Born and raised in Flagstaff, Alysa received her BSN at Arizona State University and furthered her education by getting her Doctorate of Nursing Practice through the University of Arizona in 2018. Alysa has always had a passion for integrative medicine and graduated from the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine fellowship in 2023. Her education and experience have made her an integral member at Flagstaff Medical Center with over 12 years in trauma services and critical care. 

Alysa’s interest in integrative medicine led her to specialize in preventative medicine, weight loss, and hormonal health and wellness by combining traditional medicine with alternative therapies. She recognizes that each patient has different needs and provides a personalized care plan to reach optimal health.
